The King's Speech

WOW! This was such a great movie!! Steph recommended that we go see it, and I am so glad we did. The movie is about King George the VI who had a speech impediment and the speech therapist that helps him along the way. The acting is phenomenal, the story is moving, and hey it's about history and I liked it so its gotta be good.

It is up for best picture, actor in a leading role for Colin Firth (which he better win), actor in a supporting role for Geoffrey Rush, actress in a supporting role for Helena Bonham Carter, art direction, cinematography, costume design, directing, film editing, original score, sound mixing, and writing (original screenplay). Yep that's 12 awards. When you see the movie you will understand why!
